Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification Course - Ver 01 (Certification Exam Only)

The course is designed to prepare member of Six Sigma project teams to contribute effectively towards success of project. The course includes

  1. Basics of Six Sigma - Definitions, Capacity Mapping & OEE, History of Quality and Need of Six Sigma, Cost of Quality, Problem Solving Techniques, Various methodologies, Team Roles and challenges as member.
  2. Basic Statistics - 5 steps, types of data, location / central tendency of data, spread of data, shape of data and fundamentals of Minitab
  3. Define Phase –Business Metric; scoping down tools viz. basic concept of VSM, macro map, tree diagram; Pareto chart; primary metric, financial metric, negative consequence metric; team constitution, problem & objective statements.
  4. Measure Phase – Accuracy, Precision, Capability Measures (Short term & long term), Process Flow Diagram, hidden factories, VA/NVA, KPIV/KPOV identification, Fish Bone Diagram and C&E Matrix
  5. Analyze Phase – FMEA and Graphical Analysis. Basic Concept of SMED
  6. Improve PhaseTypes of Experimentation, difference between DOE and OFAT, Basic of Kanban.
  7. Control PhaseControl Methods and their hierarchy, control plan, Statistical Process Control – Which control chart to use where, making of Xbar-chart, interpretation of control charts
